I am an artist practicing in Toledo, OH. I graduated from The Ohio State University with my BFA specializing in drawing and painting.

 

My work is meant to be all encompassing, and is meant to take up space. I want the viewers to be hugged by my work. I want there to be such richness that the viewers can’t stop observing; their eyes constantly moving.

My art is an abstract expression of my feelings towards being a queer woman. It often documents my journey with sexuality and my own experience with femininity. My feelings can be quite large,  and my work reflects these large emotions.

I often work spontaneously and intuitively, not worrying about making it perfect. My artwork reflects a sense of freedom through haphazard stitching, irregular cutting, and quick brushwork.
